Facilities at Anglesey Sea Zoo

Free parking and disabled spaces

Parking in our car park is free of charge, we also have disabled parking spots for blue badge holders.

Wheelchair access

The aquarium and outside areas are fully accessible to wheelchair users. The only steps in the building are those to access the pier tank from above, which can also be seen from a different angle below, and those to access the top deck in the Café. Click here for the Access Statement.

Toilets

Toilets are found by the Admissions desk and also at the Gift Shop. Wheelchair accessible toilets are available outside next to the main entrance.

Baby facilities

We have baby changing facilities in both Ladies toilets, as well as at the Gents toilets at the Gift Shop. The whole aquarium is accessible to pushchairs and prams. We are also happy to heat up your own baby food, just ask!

Dog facilities

Dogs are not allowed inside (apart from assistance dogs.) They are allowed outside on a lead. Dog pens and freshwater are provided outside of the aquarium to keep them in as you go around!

The dog pens are found at the side of the parking lot, these can be used free of charge. If you need a padlock for the pen, you can borrow one from our Admissions for a £5 cash deposit. A freshwater tap is provided on the outside wall of the building near the main entrance.

Picnic tables

We have outdoor picnic tables so you can bring your own lunch! During the summer some of these will be under a marquee tent away from the rain. We also have a lean-to in the courtyard next to the turtle statue!

Outside games

Our Adventure Playground and Bouncy Castle are free to all aquarium visitors! There is a maximum height limit of 120cm on the bouncy castle.

The bouncy castle must be supervised by Anglesey Sea Zoo staff – if you wish to use the bouncy castle and the attendant isn’t present, please enquire at the Admissions. Use of the bouncy castle is entirely at your own risk, and in the interest of safety parents must supervise their children at all times.

It is also possible that the castle may only be available at certain times of day. Please ask at admissions!

Please note that the bouncy castle may be unavailable during or just after bad weather. Over quieter periods outside the main holiday season the bouncy castle may only be available on weekends – please enquire at our Admissions if you have any questions.

Barti Ddu’s Crazy Golf is a mini golf course on site here, adults are £3.00, and children are £2.00. If the golf shack is closed, the clubs and balls will be available from admissions.

The Pirate Aquablaster is a high-pressure pirate fun water jet blaster!

Our gator boats are a remote controlled toy boat! Try to navigate a crocodile-infested swamp in our remote-controlled boats!

Both the The Pirate Aquablaster and the Gator Boats are coin-operated and do not accept card
